Etc.

On top of Turkey Mountain in Tulsa, OK. On this night I just wanted to get away for a bit so I put on a few layers of clothing and got on my bike and started riding. The power lines and the city scape really caught my attention. Little did I know that my headlight from my bike worked great for light painting.

Fun with lights!
We had to just go and shoot anything for our design class. No Rules. But, I found this nasty looking couch behind an old hotel in downtown Okmulgee. My toy robot just fit perfectly with the color scheme.
Take a picture without showing your face and have it portray a definable mood. Care free is the mood I was wanting to get across. Just me and my guitar and a road of possibilities ahead of us.
Okmulgee is full of gems. I just turned down random road after random road until I found this house. I love the solitude of this picture and the dog on the front porch reminds me of a time that used to be.

Copy Copy

The legs of Zach from Copy Copy made for an interesting shot. This was the bands last show as a group. They come together every Christmas and put on one heck of a show. Since it was Copy Copy's final show they dubbed it The Funeral of Copy Copy.
The Funeral of Copy Copy was actually my first attempt at shooting a live performance. I was thankful that my friends let me run around stage with reckless abandon.
Suits and ties. A preacher in the front row. A fellow pal leaning over the monitor screaming in disbelief. A band that has finally laid down to rest. The Funeral of Copy Copy. With all that said I have a feeling that they'll be back next Christmas.

Mount Righteous is what I would call righteous.

This is Z from Mount Righteous
This is my first attempt at blogging. My name is Clayton Flores and i'm currently a student at Oklahoma State Institute of Technology. I shot these two photos for an assignment about breaking the rules of photography (which sounds great to me!) The first one is me breaking the rule of keeping the main subject in focus. The second photo is all about not properly exposing a photo. Enjoy!
